The AX8742X diaphragm safety pressure relief and holding valve is generally installed on pipelines in high-rise buildings, fire water supply systems, and other water supply systems. When the pressure in the water supply system pipeline exceeds the set pressure, the pressure relief valve automatically opens to quickly release pressure, protecting pipeline safety. It can also be used as a delayed pressure valve to ensure the upstream water supply pressure of the main valve. Once the pressure exceeds the set pressure, the pressure relief valve quickly opens to release pressure in a timely manner. Close smoothly and eliminate residual pressure waves.


When the pipeline supplies water from the inlet end, the water flows through the needle valve and enters the main valve control room. The outlet pressure is applied to the pilot valve through the pipeline. When the outlet pressure is higher than the set value of the pilot valve, the pilot valve closes and the control room stops draining. At this time, the pressure in the main valve control room increases and the main valve is closed, stopping the water supply. When the outlet pressure drops to the set pressure of the pilot valve, the control room discharges water downstream. Due to the displacement of the pilot valve being greater than the inlet of the needle valve, the pressure in the control room of the main valve decreases, and the inlet pressure causes the main valve to open. When in a stable state, the inlet and outlet of the control room are the same, the opening remains unchanged, and the outlet pressure is not required, the spring of the pilot valve can be adjusted to set the outlet pressure.
