Product Description

Diaphragm valve is a special type of shut-off valve that emerged in the 1920s. Its opening and closing component is a diaphragm made of soft materials, which separates the inner cavity of the valve body from the inner cavity of the valve cover and the driving parts --hence the name "diaphragm valve".

Key Features

The diaphragm made of soft sealing materials such as rubber or plastic has good sealing performance. Since the diaphragm is a vulnerable part, it should be replaced regularly according to the characteristics of the medium.
Due to the limitations of diaphragm materials, diaphragm valves are suitable for low-pressure occasions with relatively low temperatures.
Diaphragm valves can be divided into six types according to their structural forms: weir type, straight-through type, globe type, full-bore type, gate type and angle type.
Generally, it is not suitable for pipelines with temperatures higher than 60℃, or for transporting organic solvents and strong oxidizing media, nor is it suitable for use in pipelines with relatively high pressure.
